Volcanic eruption in Iceland

The congress committee had a meeting this afternoon where information from the authorities here in Iceland was carefully viewed. The committee has decided to stick to the original plan - the congress is on and will start according to plan with a Get-together at 18:30 on May 25th at Hilton Nordica Reykjavík Hotel.

We kindly ask you to follow events on the webpage www.iceland.is where the most accurate information will be posted at any given time and updated frequently.

As for the flights please follow information on icelandair.is (change language – notice in orange letters where you can see further about flights) and icelandexpress.com (look at top of page: important travel information due to volcanic activity in Iceland). We are looking forward to seeing you in Iceland.

On behalf of the Icelandic Operating Room Nurses Association (ISORNA) we welcome you to the 3rd Congress of the Nordic Operating Room Nurses Association (NORNA) in Reykjavik, Iceland; in May 25th-27th 2011. The meeting will take place at
The Hilton Reykjavík Nordica hotel, a first class conference hotel.

The main topic of the conference is Hygiene and a detailed programme will be presented as soon as possible on our website. Beside lectures and presentations a poster presentation will take place and all posters will be on display in the congress hall. During the congress a trade exhibition will take place at the congress venue, The Hilton Reykjavík Nordica hotel.
